आज का श्लोक / 'हृद्देशे' / 'hRddeshe'

अध्याय १८, श्लोक ६१,
--
ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति ।
भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्त्रारूढेन मायया ॥

हृद्देशे - हृदयदेश में, अन्तर्हृदय में ’चेतना’ के रूप में
(भूतानामस्मि 'चेतना', अध्याय १०, श्लोक २२, एवं अध्याय १३, श्लोक ६)

भावार्थ :
--
हे अर्जुन! ईश्वर अर्थात् सबका शासन करनेवाला नारायण प्राणिमात्र के हृदय में अवस्थित है । मायारूपी यन्त्र पर आरूढ़ उन सभी प्राणियों के जीवन को वही गतिमान रखता है ।

'हृद्देशे' / 'hRddeshe' > in the innermost recesses of the Heart, i.e. as 'Consciousness' /  'चेतना' only

IshvaraH sarvabhUtAnAM
hRddeshe'rjuna tiShThati |
bhrAmayansarvabhUtAni
yantrArUDhena mAyayA ||

Meaning :
O Arjuna, God has the place in the core of the heart of all and every being. From there, He controls the destiny of them all just as if they all are the robots and they play their respective roles according to His commands.
